1. Council of Leaders (COL)
The COL is the highest decision-making body of UAYM, consisting of:
- Chairperson: Leads the organization and oversees strategic initiatives.
- Vice-Chairperson: Supports the Chairperson and acts in their absence.
- Secretary-General: Manages administrative tasks and ensures proper record-keeping.
- Treasurer: Oversees financial matters and ensures transparency.
- Regional Representatives: Serve as key liaisons within their respective sub-regions.
- Legal Adviser: Provides guidance on legal matters and ensures adherence to UAYM’s constitution.
2. Sub-Regional Divisions
UAYM is divided into sub-regions: West Africa, East Africa, Central Africa, Southern Africa, and Northern Africa. Each sub-region has:
- Chairperson: Coordinates the activities within the sub-region.
- Vice-Chairperson: Assists and stands in for the Chairperson.
- Secretary: Manages communication and record-keeping at the sub-regional level.

Each country within a sub-region is represented at the national level, which is further divided into states:
